🤗 While I may consider myself an expert, I feel like I will always have a lot to learn! 📚 The Junior paths looked so much like my first sever projects as a #DAPProfessional and WalkMe™ builder, always making things more complicated than they needed to be! In fact, I literally had a specific project come to mind when I saw that Junior path from Simple Problem ➡️ Complex Solution! I can even vividly think of several projects that fall into the Complex Problem ➡️ Complex Solution path as I became more senior. Thank heavens I have had really terrific managers along the way who allowed me to fail, then provided guidance to stop complicating things! ❓❓❓Did you fall into this early in your career? ❓❓❓What have you done to climb that rope from junior to senior to expert! 👏 Great panel session today with Leah McTiernan, LaShonda Anderson-Williams Taunya Bunte and Christina Weir as part of the Pre-Sales Collective WISE Fireside: Build Confidence, Command, and Presence when Speaking.
Wow, what an incredible group of women! LaShonda spoke of comparing ourselves to others. I do this all the time when I see other women or professionals who just seem to have it all together while I somehow always have peanut butter somewhere on my person and a kid running around in the background on my calls. When when looking at others, we need to remember: 👉 We don’t know their “Why” 👉 and we don’t know their “How” Instead of comparing ourselves, to others, we need to remember to: 🙅♀️DITCH DOUBT! We often forget to give ourselves self-compassion, but we need to be kind to yourself and give yourself space and grace as we learn and grow! Also fantastic quote from Christina Weir: “⤴️ Better, ⤴️ Better, ⛔️never Best” and I love the flexibility that gives us to grant ourselves a little grace and space as we work hard to improve and grow! Definitely skills and empowerment that I want to pass on to my 👯🤸🏻♀️ 3 little girls as they navigate the academic and professional world in the years to come! I am so excited to announce that I’ve been shortlisted for an award from the Sales Enablement Collective!
