I have a goal for all of us in 2022! 🛑 Stop thinking about your own role as being successful or high performing by just completing projects and tasks. 👉Instead, measure the success of your own role by how you contribute to measurable business growth or performance-based outcomes for the teams you support. 📣 I have a message to all the sociopaths out there on LinkedIn who peer pressured me into watching #SquidGame. 🦑 🙏🏻 Thank you But I also want tell you how you can #upskill and increase your knowledge of your users and become a better Digital Adoption Professional when using WalkMe™ I used WalkMe™…wrong??? 😳 Look, rejection is tough, but when rejection is 🤔 confusing, that makes it even harder! When I got my rejection email about presenting at a #LearningandDevelopment conference Demo event, I was a scooch confused when they told me that my demo was using WalkMe…the wrong way...😳 I’m not someone who can’t take criticism…I used to be a theatre geek 🎭, I can take criticism, pinky swear. But if someone tells you that you are using a tool “Wrong” when it contributed to measurable business growth 📈, maybe something is “wrong” with them... Just a thought…🤷🏼♀️ By this definition, I hope we are all using #WalkMe “wrong” How many speeds do you have when you’re working? I have 3! 🚆 The TGV from Brussels to Paris 🇫🇷 🏃🏼♂️ A grandpa powerwalking 🛀 Stumbling to the bath at the end of the week When you only have limited resources and a heavy workload, how do you know what to prioritize without burning yourself out? 🥵 Here are my 3 tips to prioritize your #DigitalAdoption projects and avoid 🥵 burnout:
What does a heavily animated powerpoint, 3 weeks of preparation, and a set of false eyelashes have to do with pitching to passion? 🤔 Absolutely nothing apparently! 🤭 Which is what I learned 7 words into my conversation with a Senior Leader when I had to completely pivot my prepared pitch to align with her passion and goals for our teams! 😳 I learned a valuable lesson that day: 👇 Don't pitch YOUR passion! 👉 Pitch to your STAKEHOLDER’S passion! 📣 Align your Digital Adoption Strategy with the passion of someone who can get $*&$ done and everyone engaged! Whether you support Sales, HR, IT, CSMs, Managers, or Customers, you are going to learn how to start with outcomes, and drill down to these dependencies to ensure your learners are successfully navigating their tech stack and you’ll see how easy it is with digital adoption to reach your learner’s outcomes to drive success and excellence in your organization! Since joining Reading Plus, Mary has been keeping busy collecting Star Wars Figurines, becoming a DAP Professional and using WalkMe to better support educators around the world as they onboarded to their technology! Enjoy this episode of The Digital Adopter where Mary tells us how she’s used her super strength of curiosity to rise to new heights by earning advanced certifications through the Digital Adoption Institute and becoming a Certified Digital Adoption Solutions Engineer! There is no doubt that this Digital Adoption Dr. Strange will come up with some of the most creative and exciting solutions imaginable as she lets her curiosity shield her from the anxiety and fear that often comes with trying something new! Ryan Shiba is someone with extensive experience with both WalkMe and creating engaging learning experiences for employees and customers. In this clip, Ryan and I discuss the pain point a lot of DAP Professionals have getting buy-in for their Digital Adoption programs when their organization’s learning department tends to opt for more traditional methods for platform training such as eLearning courses that are housed in the LMS. Ryan’s response is incredibly noteworthy, calling attention to the fact that Adults are problem oriented learners, who learn best when completing tasks and solving problems with immediate relevance! Digital Adoption tools are such incredible solutions that open up the world of better aligning our training and learning with how we understand that adults learn and succeed! Ryan’s final words of advice: build relationships with those you work with, build trust with decision makers and determine where you can do better, build better efficiencies and make more of an impact! It’s not everyday I get to meet an expert in a brand new technology that has completely changed how organizations communicate change and new processes and procedures with their employees…but today is one of those days! Azeem Moazzamuddin is an avid 🦈 SharkWeek Fan as well as an expert in WalkMe Workstation, which has allowed he and his dream team at CrossCountry Mortgage to be part of incredible digital transformation over the past several years! - I might have made one of those things up! More than that, Azeem has always stood out to me as a DAPProfessional who constantly improves, engages at community events and on WalkMeWorld, and is always willing to share tips, tricks, and best practices! And for the rest of the CCM dream team, I’ve made it my personal mission to host all of you on @The Digital Adopter and highlight all of the incredible things your team is doing as you continue to drive excellence in your org! |
